Need More Financial 援助 Beyond Scholarships?

There are several ways to fund your CIA education. 除了…之外 奖学金, your financial aid package might also include federal aid—such as grants, 贷款, and work-study—and other 状态 aid options.

Students may also apply for alternative 贷款 from private 银行 to help fund their education. These 贷款 are generally based on credit history and complement any federal, 状态, 学校, or private funding you receive.

Remember that your eligibility for financial aid will only be determined after you have completed a Free Application for 联邦援助 (FAFSA). 你可以找到 有用的视频 on how to complete this application 以及 学习如何避免错误. These low-interest 贷款 for students and parents are offered through the U.S. 教育部. Direct 贷款 can be 有补贴或无补贴:

    • 补贴贷款 are awarded based on financial need. 如果你有资格, the federal 政府ernment pays interest on the loan until you begin repayment. Loan proceeds are disbursed in two equal installments credited to your CIA student account.
    • 未受资助的贷款 do not require a demonstration of financial need. 如果你有资格, you will be charged interest from the time the loan is disbursed until it is paid in full. You can choose to pay the interest or allow it to accumulate.
